Filipinos Teaching in US Schools

 

Filipinos have some of the highest educational attainment rates in the United States with 47.9% of all Filipino Americans over the age of 25 having a Bachelor’s degree, which correlates with rates observed in other Asian American subgroups. The recent wave of Filipino professionals filling the education, healthcare, and information technology shortages in the United States also accounts for the high educational attainment rates.
